Happy Birthday Shelby

Shelby Porter is my god-daughter and today she is 12 years old. I'm going over to her house this afternoon for some hotdogs and cake!

Two Very Proud Grandmothers

Here's a picture of Jen with both Grandma's - she won a scholarship for the "Most Inspiring" for overcoming so many obstacles at the Miss Southern Oregon Pageant this last weekend.

Gene and Nikki

They took me into their home when ever I asked without question. There were times when ya thought biscuits and eggs and a round of golf made for a perfect day, 'till the steaks on the barbi and a bottle of wine were poured. Through love and work ethic Gene and Nikki managed to raise two wonderful boys------Mark and Tim.

Their love and the skill for the game of golf is a history book in itself. One has four aces and the other has five (I think), and the passion for eachother would only be equaled by their love of the game.

They both had the agony of witnessing my first ace, (#17 at El Dorado Hills), which would never have been made without them.

Only my mother's sister and my father's brother could mean so much to all of us.
